Pure Typology Study

RESEARCH BRIEF

Over the next week, you will become a subject expert in your allocated area of research. Start to collect examples of your research building type and save them to the google drive. Initially start by searching for examples within your superblock, then extend your review to the wider Melbourne area. Particularly search out plans and save them to scale. The examples can be historical examples or contemporary local (Australian) ones however they should be exemplary. You can include international examples but only if they are extraordinary and fit with the narrative you are developing. You should be able to explain what is outstanding and worthy of each example you propose. Each person should find at least 9 examples: For example 3 local examples, 4 Australian examples and 2 international examples.
